ABA focuses on behaviors of social significance that we apply in our everyday life such as communication, social skills, and functional living skills. Therefore, the outcomes are meaningful to your child and family.
ABA focuses on increasing desired behavior and decreasing undesirable behavior. Behaviors that are targeted for increase may include adaptive living skills, expressive and receptive language, play and leisure skills, social skills, basic academic skills.
ABA is data driven. We observe, measure, and analyze data we record during each session. This ensures that our therapy produces desired results.
ABA therapy has been researched and found to be successful in children with multiple diagnoses. At Hatch we specifically serve those identified as being on the Autism spectrum.
At Hatch, ABA therapy begins with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will assess your child and develop a treatment plan. Therapy will then be provided by a BCBA or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). ABA therapy can be provided 1:1 or in a small group setting depending on the individual needs of the child. Additionally, services can be provided at Hatch, in homes, and school or community settings.
